Welcome to HP Support Forum. Please use the following Guide:

                  https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1736500-1626554-16

Please also note: Your printer may only support 2.4GHz therefore you need to check and allow your router to broadcast both (dual) bands which are 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz.

Thank you for your reply I've read only the first of your two messages. Not computer savvy wanted to thank you before I went to the second one and loss this one. I have tried the site you posted for me that doesn't work the Wi-Fi connection light stays on on the printer as if it is connected. In your message you mentioned something about changing the speed of the router not sure how I would go about doing that. My background is older blue-collar retired worker with a computer. Could be dangerous LOL
