Hi @greyhound56,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you've changed your WiFi password and now your HP printer won't connect, you'll need to update the WiFi settings on your printer to match the new password. Here’s how you can do it.
- Access Printer Settings: Turn on your HP printer and make sure it is in a ready state (not displaying any error messages).
- Navigate to WiFi Settings: Use the printer’s control panel to navigate to the WiFi settings. This process varies depending on your printer model, but generally, you will find it under Settings or Network settings.
- Select Network Setup: Look for options like "Wireless Setup Wizard" or "Network Setup" and select it.
- Choose your Network: Your printer will scan for available WiFi networks. Select your WiFi network name (SSID) from the list.
- Enter New WiFi Password: When prompted, enter the new WiFi password using the printer’s keypad or touchscreen interface. Be careful to enter it correctly.
- Complete Setup: Once entered, confirm the password and allow the printer to connect to your WiFi network.
- Test Connection: Print a network configuration page or any document to ensure that the printer is now connected to the WiFi network successfully.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
