Hi @Maniron76,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It's common to face connectivity issues when you upgrade your Wi-Fi network or get a new modem. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and reconnect your HP printer to the new Wi-Fi network.

Check Wi-Fi Settings on Printer:

  • Make sure your printer is turned on and check its control panel or display for any error messages.
  • Navigate to the printer's settings or network menu to view or print a network configuration page. This page usually contains information about the printer's current network settings.

Reconnect to Wi-Fi:

  • On the printer, go to the Settings or Network menu and look for an option like "Wireless Setup Wizard" or "Network Setup."
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect your printer to the new Wi-Fi network. You may need to select your new network, enter the Wi-Fi password, and confirm the settings.

Manual Wi-Fi Setup:

  • If the automatic setup doesn't work, you can manually enter the Wi-Fi network settings on your printer. Look for an option like "Manual Setup" or "Advanced Settings" in the printer menu.

Restart Printer and Router:

  • Turn off your printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes.
  • While the printer is off, restart your new router or modem.
  • Plug in your printer and turn it on. Retry the Wi-Fi setup.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.
  • Visit the official HP website, enter your printer model, and look for firmware updates in the support or downloads section.

Disable Firewall or Antivirus:

  • Temporarily disable any firewall or antivirus software on your computer, as they might be blocking the communication between your computer and the printer during the setup process.

Reset Printer Network Settings:

  • If none of the above steps work, you may need to reset the printer's network settings entirely. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.

Remember to have your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password handy during the setup process.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
