Hi @Aaruhi
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Connecting your HP printer to your laptop depends on whether you're using USB, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
1. Connect via USB Cable
- Plug the USB cable into your printer and laptop.
- Windows should automatically detect the printer and install drivers.
- If not, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners and click Add a printer.
2. Connect via Wi-Fi (Wireless)
- Ensure your printer is powered on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your laptop.
- Open HP Smart (download it from HP’s website).
- Click Add Printer and follow the setup instructions.
3. Connect via Bluetooth (If Supported)
- Enable Bluetooth on both your laptop and printer.
- Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & Other Devices.
- Click Add Bluetooth or Other Device and select your printer.
