Hi @OLDFRUSTRATED,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To reconnect your HP LaserJet M234dw printer to your new Wi-Fi network, follow these steps to perform a manual connection.

Using the Wireless Setup Wizard (via Printer Control Panel)

  1. Restart your Printer: Make sure your printer is powered on, and if necessary, restart it.
  2. Access the Wireless Settings:
    • On your printer's control panel, press the Wireless button or navigate to Network Setup.
    • Look for the Wireless Setup Wizard and select it.
  3. Connect to your Wi-Fi:
    • The printer will scan for available networks.
    • Select your new Wi-Fi network from the list.
    • Enter your Wi-Fi password when prompted.
  4. Confirm the Connection: Once the printer connects to the network, the wireless light should become steady.

Using the HP Smart App (Mobile/Desktop)

  1. Download and Install the HP Smart App on your mobile device or computer, if you haven't already.
  2. Reset the Network Settings on your Printer:
    • Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons together for 5 seconds until the printer starts flashing.
    • This will restore the network settings to their factory defaults.
  3. Open the HP Smart App and select "Add a New Printer."
  4. Follow the Instructions: The app will guide you through setting up the printer and connecting it to the new Wi-Fi network.

Using WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup)

  1. Activate WPS on Your Printer: Press and hold the Wireless button on your printer for 3 seconds until the wireless light starts blinking.
  2. Press the WPS Button on Your Router: Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router.
  3. Wait for Connection: The wireless light on the printer should stop blinking and become steady once connected.

After completing these steps, try printing a test page to ensure the connection works

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
