When I try to print a document, the printer spits out all the paper in the tray.

I am installing a new HP ENVY 7155 printer. To prints a test sheet, but when I print a document, it spits out all blanc sheets in the tray.

I understand the printer is printing blank sheets. To assist you better,

  • Which application are you trying to print from?
  • Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word, or Webpages and check if the issue persists?
  • Try making a standalone copy from the flatbed glass and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your Mac.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

 

Also, check for any software updates on Mac

Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.

 

Perform the steps mentioned in this document - Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues
