Why no phone number?!?!?

My friend gave me her used HP PHOTOSMART PREMIUM a while back and I’m trying to set it up but I cannot find the power chord to see if it even still works!!  This website gives me a gut ache cuz I have to do 15 thing’s before it’ll give an answer BUT THEN doesn’t give an answer cuz my information is supposedly wrong!!!  WHY DOESN'T HP HAVE A CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER??!!?!?!
