@DSB7, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Envy Inspire 7200 series printer has lost its Wi-Fi icon, setup wizard, and the blue light is off, it likely means the printer has exited Wi-Fi Setup Mode or the wireless module is disabled. Here's how to restore it:
Power Cycle the Printer
- Turn off the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall and printer.
- Wait for 60 seconds.
- Plug it back in and power it on.
Restore Wi-Fi Setup Mode
On the printer's control panel, tap the Home icon.
Navigate to Settings > Network Setup > Restore Network Settings.
Confirm the reset. This will re-enable Wi-Fi Setup Mode and the blue light should start blinking.
Use HP Smart App to Reconnect
- Download the HP Smart app from HP Smart
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer.
- Ensure your mobile device or PC is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you want the printer to join.
Check for Firmware Updates
- Once connected, go to Settings > Printer Maintenance > Update Printer to ensure your printer has the latest firmware.

Unfortunately the problem I have is that even with removing power source and reinstalling and powering back up, when I enter settings there is no longer any mention/access to network setup/restore network settings on the touchscreen or any mention of Wi-Fi anymore, so I cannot access to restore, it has totally disappeared from settings! I am at a total loss and it is so frustrating. I do not want to purchase another printer,as the printer is still in good condition otherwise.
