Product: HP Envy 5055

I have bought a HP Envy 5055 for my parents to print off pictures of grandkids and am having a ton of trouble getting it to connect to wifi.  I have gone through all the steps and when I find the wifi network, it will not prompt me for the password.  I have looked through all the past settings and the main problem for others seems to be that their wifi security settings need to be changed to WPA/WPA-2, which I have already done, and it still is having the same problem.  Anyone have any other ideas?
