Wifi down, Can I connect my HP2640 to my phone's mobile data hotspot

Hello, I am trying to figure out how to connect my printer to my phone's data hotspot, can anyone please help. 

Current wifi may be down for good, need to print labels asap for shipping. Any help would be so much appreciated

@Anyastarr8, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

The printer may or may not work on a mobile hotspot. Hp does not recommend connecting the printer to a hotspot.

 

Download the label to your phone and print using wifi-direct in absence of a wireless network.

Refer to this document - Printing with Wi-Fi Direct. The default password is 12345678.

 

Use the HP Smart app to print from your phone. Click here to know how.
