Hi @Al619,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet 4130e All-In-One Printer is not connecting to Wi-Fi despite inputting the correct password and showing as offline, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue.

Verify Wi-Fi Password:

  • Double-check that you are entering the correct Wi-Fi password when attempting to connect the printer. Sometimes, errors can occur when inputting passwords manually.

Restart Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, unplug the power cord, and wait for about 1-2 minutes. Then, plug the power cord back in and turn the printer back on. This can sometimes resolve temporary connectivity issues.

Restart Router:

  • Restart your wireless router by unplugging it from the power source, waiting for about 30 seconds, and then plugging it back in. Allow the router to fully restart and establish a connection before attempting to connect the printer again.

Move Closer to Router:

  • Ensure that the printer is within range of your Wi-Fi router. Move the printer closer to the router to improve the signal strength and connectivity.

Check Wi-Fi Signal:

  • Use another device, such as a smartphone or laptop, to verify that your Wi-Fi network is working properly. If other devices can connect to the Wi-Fi network without any issues, the problem may be specific to the printer.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP DeskJet 4130e printer. Updating the printer's firmware may resolve compatibility issues and improve connectivity.

Reset Printer Network Settings:

  • On the printer's control panel, navigate to the wireless or network settings menu and look for an option to reset the network settings or restore defaults. Performing a network reset may resolve connectivity issues.

Reinstall HP Smart App:

  • If you're using the HP Smart app to connect the printer, try reinstalling the app on your smartphone or tablet. Sometimes, reinstalling the app can fix software-related issues.

By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and resolve the issue with your HP DeskJet 4130e All-In-One Printer not connecting to Wi-Fi.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
