Hi @Hilpa,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I understand that you are facing connectivity issues. I’d like to help!
Make sure, your printer and your device are on the same network as 2.4GHZ only.
To change the Wi-Fi password on your HP ENVY 6032e All-In-One Printer, you'll need to update the printer's network settings to match your new Wi-Fi password. Here are the steps to do this:
Method 1: Using HP Smart App
Download HP Smart App:
- Ensure you have the HP Smart app installed on your smartphone or computer. You can download it from the HP Smart website or your device's app store.
Connect to the Printer:
- Open the HP Smart app and make sure your printer is connected to your device. The app should automatically detect your printer if it's already connected to your Wi-Fi network.
Change Wi-Fi Settings:
- In the HP Smart app, go to the "Printer Settings" or "Network Settings" section.
- Look for the "Wi-Fi" or "Wireless Settings" option.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to update the Wi-Fi settings with the new password. You'll need to enter your new Wi-Fi password when prompted.
Reconnect the Printer:
- After updating the Wi-Fi settings, your printer should reconnect to your network using the new password. If it doesn't automatically reconnect, you may need to restart the printer.
Method 2: Using Printer's Control Panel
Reset Network Settings:
- On the printer's control panel, go to the "Setup" menu (usually represented by a gear icon).
- Navigate to "Network" or "Wireless Settings."
- Select "Restore Network Settings" or "Restore Network Defaults" to reset the printer's network settings.
Reconnect to Wi-Fi:
- After resetting the network settings, go back to the "Wireless Settings" menu.
- Select "Wireless Setup Wizard" and follow the prompts to reconnect your printer to your Wi-Fi network.
- When prompted, enter your new Wi-Fi password.
Method 3: Using Embedded Web Server (EWS)
Find Printer's IP Address:
- On the printer's control panel, go to the "Network Settings" or "Wireless Settings" menu.
- Select "Network Configuration" or "Wireless Network Test" to print a network configuration page. This page will show your printer's IP address.
Access EWS:
- Open a web browser on your computer and type your printer's IP address into the address bar. Press Enter.
- This will open the printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS).
Update Wi-Fi Settings:
- In the EWS, navigate to the "Network" or "Wireless" tab.
- Look for the "Wireless Setup" or "Wireless Configuration" section.
- Enter your new Wi-Fi password and save the settings.
Reconnect the Printer:
- After updating the settings, your printer should reconnect to your Wi-Fi network using the new password. Restart the printer if necessary.
By following these steps, you should be able to update the Wi-Fi password on your HP ENVY 6032e All-In-One Printer. If you encounter any issues, refer to the printer's user guide.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
