Wireless Printing

HP DeskJet 3630 All-in-One Printer Series
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I connected my printer successfully to the wifi. I can print from my phone using the HP app but I cannot seem to get it to work from my computer. The second I disconnected the cable the printer appears offline. My computer is connected using ethernet, it does not have a wifi card and hence no wifi capability. Is this a problem? I can't figure out what im doing wrong...

Hi,

This is probably a configuration issue, you should be able to print from a computer connected with a cable, as long as both the PC and the Printer are connected to the same router, either with a cable or wirelessly, let's verify the following to get some better understanding:

Print and evaluate a Wireless Network Test Report:

https://support.hp.com/hr-en/document/c04617078

Locate the IP Address listed in the report, from the computer open a browser and type this IP to the address bar - may you able to access the printer homepage or not?
