Hi @MsOliverla,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I understand that you are facing connectivity issues. I’d like to help!
Make sure, your printer and your device are on the same network as 2.4GHZ only.
If the Wi-Fi option is no longer visible on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 printer, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
Step 1: Verify Wi-Fi Direct is Enabled
- Access the Printer Control Panel:
- On the printer’s control panel, tap the Wi-Fi Direct icon (if available) or navigate to Settings > Wi-Fi Direct.
- Enable Wi-Fi Direct:
- Ensure Wi-Fi Direct is enabled. If not, turn it on.
Step 2: Restore Network Settings to Default
- Access Network Settings:
- On the printer’s control panel, go to Settings > Network Settings.
- Restore Network Settings:
- Select Restore Network Settings or Restore Network Defaults and confirm. This will reset all network settings on the printer.
Step 3: Reconnect to Wi-Fi Network
- Access Wi-Fi Setup:
- On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup > Network Setup > Wireless Settings.
- Wi-Fi Setup Wizard:
- Select Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect to your Wi-Fi network.
- Enter your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password when prompted.
Step 4: Update Printer Firmware
- Check for Firmware Updates:
- Visit the HP Support page and enter your printer model (HP OfficeJet Pro 9015).
- Download and install any available firmware updates for your printer.
- Update via Printer Control Panel:
- On the printer’s control panel, go to Settings > Printer Maintenance > Update the Printer.
Step 5: Check for Interference
- Check Proximity:
- Ensure your printer is within range of your Wi-Fi router and there are no physical obstructions or electronic devices causing interference.
- Change Wi-Fi Channel:
- If possible, change the Wi-Fi channel on your router to reduce interference from other devices.
Kindly find the next set of steps in the next post.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
