I have just installed a new Officejet 6978 at home. Three computers on the network. At one computer, running Win 8.1, I cannot print in WORD, but can print from Adobe Reader. I cannot scan using the HP Scan application. In all these cases, the application complains that it cannot access the printer. Absolutely no problem with the other two computers (each uses Win 10).
