Enable Wi-Fi direct on your printer
Make sure the android works on the same band as the printer.
If printer is 2.4ghz then your android needs to be on 2.4
get a network printout: find the name of the wifi-direct signal and the password
install hp smart on your android and look for the printer
I assume the printer is made by HP but it would be helpful to know the model.
HP: Smart requires android 10 or later.
If your android is a Samsung then use Samsung print services for 9
The Samsung Print Service Plugin enables printing from your Android device to your HP printer over a Wi-Fi network, or using the Wi-Fi Direct connection for Wi-Fi Direct supported printers
