HP DeskJet 2752e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I've unplugged, replugged. Hit buttons, waited, still can't get to a page that lets me pick the new wireless network. I think I have to sell this printer and start over again with a new one. It worked fine until we moved away for two months and changed the wifi.

@JoanneGL, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Changing the Network on an HP DeskJet 2752e!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

It can be frustrating when you move and need to connect your printer to a new wireless network, especially one without touchscreen controls. Here is a step-by-step guide to help you reconnect your HP DeskJet 2752e to your new Wi-Fi network:

Reset the Network Settings on Your Printer:

  1. Power On the Printer: Ensure your printer is turned on.
  2. Restore Network Settings:
    • For printers without a touchscreen: Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button at the same time for five seconds. The wireless light will blink, indicating that the network settings have been restored to default.

Connect to a New Wireless Network:

Install HP Smart App:

  • Download and install the HP Smart app on your mobile device or computer.
  • HP Smart App download links:

Open HP Smart App: Launch the app and sign in or create an HP account.

Add Your Printer:

  • Tap on the Plus sign (+) to add a new printer.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to select your printer model.

Connect the Printer to Wi-Fi:

  • The app will prompt you to configure the Wi-Fi settings.
  • Follow the app instructions to connect your printer to the new Wi-Fi network.
  • Make sure your device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you want your printer to join.

Finish Setup:

  • Once the printer is successfully connected to the Wi-Fi network, the app will confirm this.
  • You may be asked to test print a page to ensure the configuration was successful.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
