default from photo to regular PDF-like when using hpeprint

I like to send puzzles to my printer for my wife to complete when traveling. I take a screen shot and email using the hpeprint address from my iphone. I have a new ENVY 7100 Photo printer and when I do this it takes the screenshot as a photo and tries to print on photo paper. I just want it on regular 8x10 white paper. How to do this, anyone??? Thanks.

This is likely the long way 'round - but it might work.


Take your screenshot - save it and then insert the image into a Pages document in iOS.

Resize the image of the puzzle to fill the page - Save the document.

Export the document as a PDF file and try sending that to your printer's email.


If the ePrint doesn't balk because of the embedded image in the document, it will print on regular paper.
