Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My printer is envy 6220.

When the printing quality is not good enough, I changed to a new ink.

Then the printer said they could not detect the ink level unless it is registered.

Ok, I am going to register the ink.

When I logged in to the instant-ink service, the page asked me to type in the print-code.

Ok, as I did all this in a new computer for my older is removed.

The page (https://support.hp.com/fr-fr/document/c05295516#c05279891_cannot_find_ePrint_icon_on_display) guided me the code is the email address (the location of the eprint service) with @hpeprint.com, so I typed in and found out the most surprising thing.

My printer could not print anything as the ink is not registered so the printer information page could not be printed and I have to check the solutions in the page.

There are only 13 codes in the email but the page requested 16 codes!

It is such a big bug I have ever.

I have no idea how to deal with this.

Could anybody help me?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help.

Let's remove and add web services:

To remove Web Services using the printer control panel 1. On the printer control panel display, from the Home screen, touch ( HP ePrint ), and then touch (Settings). 2. Touch Remove Web Services.

To set up Web Services using the printer control panel 1. On the printer control panel display, from the Home screen, touch ( Setup ). 2. Touch Web Services . 3. Touch Yes to accept the Web Services terms of setup. 4. The printer will automatically check updates and set up Web Services. 5. Touch OK when you see Web Services have been set up successfully. 6. When the printer is connected to the server, the printer prints an information page, and shows Web Services Summary on the screen.

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
