Product: hp envy photo 7855
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a hp envy photo 7855 - I need to know how to fix the wireless connection and ink cartridges.

the printer has a blue wireless light on, but it is not connected to the pc. the pc says offline.

the black ink needed changing and now won't print at all. even in color.

there is a blue screen on the printer with a number and power-looking button, as I tried troubleshooting with a virtual agent.

please advise.

I can help you with the printer offline issue once we resolve the cartridge-related error.

 

To be able to assist you better, I'd like to know the following-

  • What is the exact error on the printer? Could you share the screenshot of the same?
  • Have you tried removing and reinstalling the ink cartridges?

Meanwhile, Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
