Hi @lokeshr, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP ENVY Pro 6458 All-in-One Printer is showing as offline for printing but still allows scanning, it indicates a communication issue between your printer and computer. Here are some steps to resolve it:

Check Printer Connection

  • If connected via Wi-Fi, ensure that your printer and computer are on the same Wi-Fi network.
  • If using a USB cable, try a different USB port.
  • Restart your router, printer, and computer.

Set Printer to Online

  • Open Control PanelDevices and Printers.
  • Right-click on HP ENVY Pro 6458 and select See what's printing.
  • Click Printer in the top menu and Uncheck "Use Printer Offline" if it's enabled.

Restart Print Spooler

  • Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  • Scroll down to Print Spooler, right-click, and choose Restart.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor

Reinstall Printer Drivers

  • Uninstall the printer from Control PanelDevices and Printers.
  • Download and install the latest drivers from the HP Support website.
  • Re-add the printer by following the on-screen instructions.

Assign a Static IP (For Wi-Fi Connections)

  • Print a Network Configuration Report from the printer settings.
  • Find the IP Address and enter it in a browser.
  • In the printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS), set a Static IP under Network settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
