@ACG2231, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your M15w’s blue light flashing!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
When the blue Wi-Fi light is flashing, it’s your M15w’s way of saying “I’m looking for a home but haven’t found one yet.” Don’t worry—we can reset and reconnect it to your new network.
Here’s what to try:
Restore the printer’s wireless settings
Press and hold the Wireless button (the one with the antenna icon) until the light starts blinking, then press the Cancel button.
Wait until the wireless light blinks slowly—this means the printer is back to default Wi-Fi mode.
Reconnect using WPS (if your router supports it)
On the printer, press and hold the Wireless button until the light starts blinking.
Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router.
The blue light will turn solid when connected.
If WPS doesn’t work, use HP Smart app
Download HP Smart on your phone or PC.
Open the app → tap Set up a new printer → follow the steps to add your M15w to the new Wi-Fi.
Once connected, that soft blinking blue should turn into a steady glow—like the printer finally feeling “at home” on your network.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
