We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

 

To completely remove the HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 software from your computer, follow these steps:

For Windows

Uninstall from Control Panel

  • Press Windows + R, type appwiz.cpl, and hit Enter.
  • Find HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 or HP software in the list.
  • Right-click and select Uninstall.

Remove Leftover HP Files

  • Press Windows + E to open File Explorer.
  • Navigate to:
    • C:\Program Files\HP\ and delete any 8610-related folders.
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\ (for 32-bit apps).
    • C:\ProgramData\HP\ (Hidden folder: Enable "Show Hidden Files" in View settings).

Remove HP Printer from Devices

  • Press Windows + R, type control printers, and press Enter.
  • Find HP OfficeJet Pro 8610, right-click, and select Remove device.

Clean Registry Entries (Advanced Users)

  • Press Windows + R, type regedit, and press Enter.
  • Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HP and delete 8610-related entries.
  • Be careful editing the registry!

Restart Your Computer

For macOS

  1. Open Finder > Applications and drag HP 8610 software to Trash.
  2. Open Library > Printers and delete the HP folder.
  3. Open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, select the HP printer, and click - (minus) to remove it.
  4. Restart your Mac.

After these steps, your HP 8610 software should be completely gone! Let me know if you need more help! 💙
