I moved and have a new wifi network. Printer says off-line. Prints the spec sheet so it did connect, somewhat. Says add PIN, I do and it say "that didn't work, try again of contact HP. (using Smart app)
When using Win 11 add printer it error "your printer quit waiting" while printer is still printing spec sheet.
This printer has always struggled to stay connected with off-line status given even upon fresh boot of PC & printer. (since it was new)
It also has refused the PIN when going through this set-up before.
HELP PLEASE

Hi @LLoydofAkron,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
I understand how frustrating it must be to deal with connectivity issues after moving, especially when your printer has struggled to stay connected from the start. It’s really inconvenient when you just want to print, and technical issues keep getting in the way. I’m here to help you get your HP LaserJet MFP M234dwe back online!
- Have you tried resetting your printer's network settings to establish a fresh connection to the new Wi-Fi network?
- Is your printer close to your Wi-Fi router, or are there any obstructions that might interfere with the signal?
- Have you checked if there are any firmware updates available for your printer that might address connectivity issues?
Let's try these steps.
Reset Network Settings: On the printer's control panel, go to the settings menu and look for the network settings. Find the option to reset the network settings, which will clear the old Wi-Fi information and allow you to set it up anew.
Reconnect to Wi-Fi: After resetting, follow the steps to connect your printer to your new Wi-Fi network. You may need to use the Smart app to add your printer again. Ensure you enter the correct Wi-Fi password.
Check for Firmware Updates: Go to the HP Support website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model. Download and install any updates if necessary.
Use the HP Smart App: Open the HP Smart app and try to add your printer. Make sure the printer is powered on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer. If it prompts for a PIN, ensure that you’re entering the correct one.
Reboot Devices: Restart both your printer and your computer to refresh the connection. Sometimes, a simple reboot can resolve temporary connectivity issues.

Elohi,
Where is the control panel on this model printer? I dont see how to access it from my limited buttons.
I was able to run a network diagnosis and SSID was a fail.
BTW This forum jumps all over the place when I try to type. in this form and the other day. Jumps to end of the page all the time.
