Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

my product is hp deskjet 4828 wireless printer.  my wifi connection was changed  to a new one recently with 2 band width and now the router has 2.4 and 5.0 Ghz  bandwidth. the printer wifi light is steady. printer information page mentions - 'connected to wireless network - .name.........' ''signal strength very good.'

BUT message - 'THIS PRINTER IS NOT CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET'

on my laptop message is coming ' cannot connect with printer' and document remains in the spool till i cancel it.

my laptop connects to the 2.4 GHZ and not to 5.0 Ghz. On what bandwidth will the above printer have to be connected?

this problem started only after i changed the wifi connection. i have already tried several methods suggested including redoing the wireless setup. and wasted several days trying to solve this issue.

please help .

HP Recommended

The printer can only connect to the 2,4GHz band.
