@couchon, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Offline HP Printer Issues!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If your HP printer is showing as offline, here are a series of steps you can follow to resolve the issue:
Check Printer Status:
- Ensure that the printer is turned on and has paper in the tray.
- Check for any error messages or lights on the printer that might indicate a problem, and resolve them accordingly.
Verify Printer Connections:
- For wired connections, ensure that the USB cable is securely connected to your computer and printer.
- For wireless connections, verify that the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network and that the blue wireless light on the printer is on.
Restart the Devices:
- Turn off your printer and your router, wait for a minute, and then turn them back on. This can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.
Check Printer Queue:
- On Windows:
- Open "Devices and Printers" from the Control Panel.
- Right-click on your HP printer and select "See what's printing".
- Click on the "Printer" menu and ensure that "Use Printer Offline" is not checked.
- Clear any pending print jobs by selecting "Cancel All Documents".
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
