Hi @jerseyjenn,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your new HP LaserJet Pro 3002dw isn't connecting to Wi-Fi, here are a few steps you can follow to troubleshoot the issue:

Check Network Settings:

  • Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is working properly and that other devices can connect to it.

Printer Setup:

  • On the printer's control panel, go to the network settings and select the Wi-Fi setup option. Choose your network and enter the correct Wi-Fi password.

Wi-Fi Signal:

  • Make sure the printer is within range of your Wi-Fi router. Sometimes moving the printer closer to the router can help.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart your printer, router, and computer. Sometimes a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.

Update Firmware: HP LaserJet Pro 3002dw Printer User manual

  • Check if there’s a firmware update available for your printer. Sometimes updates can resolve connectivity issues. You can usually find these updates on HP’s official website.

HP Smart App:

  • Install or update the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device. Follow the instructions in the app to set up the printer.

Reinstall Printer:

  • Remove the printer from your list of devices on your computer, and then add it again. Make sure to select the correct model and follow the prompts to connect it to your network.

Check for Interference:

  • Ensure there are no large metal objects or electronic devices between the printer and the router that could be causing interference.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
