Hi @swaleh1,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP printer is not connecting to the WiFi, there are several troubleshooting steps you can try.
- Check the WiFi Connection: Ensure that your WiFi network is working properly and that other devices can connect to it.
- Restart Printer and Router: Turn off your printer and WiFi router, wait for a few minutes, and then turn them back on. Sometimes a simple restart can fix connectivity issues.
- Move Closer to the Router: If possible, move your printer closer to the WiFi router to improve the signal strength.
- Check Printer Settings: Make sure that your printer's WiFi settings are correctly configured. You may need to enter the WiFi network name (SSID) and password.
- Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer and install them if necessary. Updated firmware can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.
- Reset Network Settings: Some printers have an option to reset network settings to default. You can try resetting the network settings and then reconfigure the WiFi connection.
- Check for Interference: Other electronic devices, such as cordless phones or microwave ovens, can interfere with WiFi signals. Move these devices away from your printer and router if possible.
- Disable VPN or Proxy: If you're using a VPN or proxy connection, try disabling it temporarily to see if it's causing the connectivity issue.
By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and resolve the WiFi connectivity issue with your HP printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
