Product: HP office jet 6600
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

My wireless HP officejet 6600 has worked well for years but when I go to wifi settings I see the office jet 6600 is one of the options.    However, it has no password to connect to it.   Do I need to set a password? and how do I do it?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Have you tried connecting to the HP named network? 
  • Are you getting any error message while connecting to the printer?
  • Could you share the screen where it's asking for the password?
