Hi @Jazzboomrcat,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're encountering some connectivity issues between your devices and your HP Officejet 6700 printer. Let's try a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can resolve the problem.

  • Check Printer Connection: Ensure that your HP Officejet 6700 is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone, Mac laptop, and iPad. Sometimes printers can inadvertently connect to a different network.
  • Restart Devices: Try restarting your printer, iPhone, Mac laptop, and iPad. This can sometimes resolve temporary communication glitches.
  • Update Software: Make sure that your iPhone, Mac laptop, and iPad are running the latest software updates. Similarly, ensure that your HP Officejet 6700 has the latest firmware installed.
  • Printer Settings: On your Mac laptop, open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners. Check if your HP Officejet 6700 is listed. If it's not, try adding it by clicking the "+" button and following the prompts. Make sure it's set as the default printer.
  • Printer Sharing: If your printer is connected to your Mac laptop, make sure printer sharing is enabled in System Preferences > Sharing.
  • Reset Printing System: In System Preferences > Printers & Scanners on your Mac, right-click or Control-click on the list of printers and select "Reset printing system." This will remove all printers from your list. You'll need to re-add your printer afterward.
  • HP Smart App: Consider installing the HP Smart app on your iPhone and iPad. This app can help you set up and manage your HP printer wirelessly.
  • Manual IP Configuration: If you're still having trouble, you might try assigning a static IP address to your printer. This can sometimes improve stability in the connection between the printer and your devices.

Try these steps and see if they help resolve your printing issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
