Hi @Bill617,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're having trouble with your HP account affecting your ability to print. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue.

Check Your HP Account:

  • Log in to your HP account on the HP website to verify that your account is active and in good standing.

Sign Out and Sign In Again:

  • Open the HP Smart app, sign out of your account, and then sign back in. This can sometimes refresh your account status.

Update the HP Smart App:

  • Ensure that you have the latest version of the HP Smart app installed. Updates can sometimes fix bugs and account-related issues.

Check for Printer Firmware Updates:

  • Make sure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check for updates through the HP Smart app or the printer's control panel.

Re-add Your Printer:

  • Remove your printer from the HP Smart app and then add it back. This can help resolve any connection issues between the app and the printer.

Verify Account Information:

  • Double-check your account details and payment information (if applicable) to ensure there are no issues that might be affecting your account status.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
