Common problems for Connectivity Issues

There is a " ! " on the display screen of the printer, which is supposed to mean an ERROR according to the user manual. I tried with HP Print and scan doctor as well as Smart print but no actions suggested to correct it.   

 

Another manual explains that I have reached the maximum (5)  connections to the printer. I only have one laptop connected.

 

Anyone knows how to reset or hard reset the printer?   Or should I simply return it to get a new one?
