New router from Xfinity was installed. My HP Deskjet 3050A all in one printer will not connect. I have uninstalled, reinstalled and checked all the wires. Wireless network test reset states "To connect wirelessly you int turn ON the wireless radio on your HP printer. " I do not know how to do this.

Hi @Cooper091 ,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I understand how frustrating it can be to set up your printer with a new router, especially when you're trying everything to get it connected.

Make sure, your printer and your device are on the same network as 2.4GHZ only.

Let's try a few steps to resolve the issue😊

Enable Wireless Radio on the Printer

  • On your HP Deskjet 3050A, locate the Wireless button (it usually looks like a wireless signal icon). Press this button to turn on the wireless radio. The wireless light should illuminate, indicating that the wireless feature is active.

Print a Network Configuration Page

  • After turning on the wireless radio, print a Network Configuration Page to check if the printer is detecting your new network. You can do this by pressing the "Cancel" button and then the "Wireless" button together.

Reconnect to Your Network

  • On the printer’s control panel, press the Wireless button, then select Settings. Choose Wireless Setup Wizard from the menu, and follow the prompts to select your new Wi-Fi network and enter the password.

Update Printer Drivers (if needed)

  • Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your printer. Go to the HP Support website, search for your model, and download any necessary updates.

Restart Your Devices

  • Restart your printer and your router. This can often resolve connectivity issues by refreshing the network connection.
