Hi @Assassin3

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP LaserJet Pro 100 Color MFP M175nw won't connect wirelessly after upgrading to the Xfinity XB7 router, here are some steps to help you troubleshoot the issue:

1. Restart Devices

  • Power cycle your printer and the XB7 router. Unplug them, wait about 30 seconds, and then plug them back in.

2. Check Wireless Network Settings

  • Ensure that your printer is set to connect to the correct Wi-Fi network (SSID) and that the password is correct.
  • Access the printer's control panel to navigate to the network settings and verify or re-enter the Wi-Fi details.

3. Reset Network Settings on Printer

  • Go to the printer’s menu and find the option to reset network settings. After resetting, reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

4. Connect via WPS (if available)

  • If your router supports WPS, you can try connecting the printer using this method:
    • Press the WPS button on the router.
    • On the printer, navigate to the network menu and select WPS to connect.

5. Update Printer Firmware

  • Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check for updates through the HP support website.

6. Check Router Settings

  • Log in to your XB7 router settings and check if there are any settings that might be blocking the printer. Ensure that MAC address filtering is turned off or that the printer's MAC address is allowed.
  • Make sure that the 2.4 GHz band is enabled, as many printers only connect to this frequency.

7. Reinstall Printer Software

  • Uninstall and reinstall the printer software on your computer. During the installation process, make sure to select the wireless option.

8. Use the HP Print and Scan Doctor

  • Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool, which can help diagnose and fix connection issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
