Hi @Sugdad, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
A passphrase is a type of Wi-Fi security key (like a password) used for network authentication. Your HP Envy 6065e printer is likely asking for it because:

  1. Your Wi-Fi network settings changed – If your router was restarted, reset, or updated, the printer may have lost its connection and now requires re-authentication.
  2. Your printer lost its connection – If the printer was disconnected or powered off for an extended period, it may need the Wi-Fi password to reconnect.
  3. Firmware update – A recent firmware update could have reset the network settings, requiring you to reconnect the printer.

How to Fix It

Check your Wi-Fi password

  • Ensure you're entering the correct Wi-Fi passphrase (password).

Reconnect the printer to Wi-Fi

  • On the printer, press and hold the Wireless button (or Wi-Fi button) for 5 seconds until the light blinks.
  • Use the HP Smart app on your phone or PC to set up the Wi-Fi again.

Restart your router and printer

  • Turn both off for 30 seconds and restart them.

Check if Wi-Fi changed

  • If your router changed its SSID (Wi-Fi name) or encryption type, update the printer settings accordingly.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
