1530dnf will not print after installing an HP cartridge.

Product Name: custom built
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I had been using a compatible cartridge and the printer quit working.  I have done the following:  installed a new HP cartridge, unplugged the printer and waited 20 seconds to replug, verified the printer in the control panel and nothing works so far.   



I have since figured out the problem and cannot see where to delete this post.
