Exactly a problem here on Saint Martin with an HP printer 2050 J510   On the box "Made in China"  it states to use HP 122 cartridges. I bought the printer on the Dutch side of Sint Maarten/ Saint Martin but am using it on the French side!  So suddenly the error message came as "cartridges not compatible with this printer"  after installing NEW HP 122XL B/W and Colour cartridges at a cost of $63 US.

So for one month I have been led up and down the garden path by HP personnel. I have searched all my boxes for the Proof of Purchase where I bought the printer and I can not find it yet and the shop do not keep records!

So if I was on the Dutch side which cartridge should I use?

Maybe I should just go and waste more money and buy some HP 61 cartrirdges or some HP 301 cartridges and play the game to see which one works in the #HP2050 printer????

I have THREE HP printers now and an HP Pavillion laptop and NONE of them work!  Also FOUR full cartridges HP 122 !

Would I ever buy another HP product?  What a question!
