Solved!

3845 Deskjet

HP Recommended

My Deskjet 3845 printer is working well but I need help to get the right sequence of commands in using it to print a small book.   The book is in Publisher and runs to 52 A5 pages.   I want the result to be a book of 13 sheets of A4 paper which folds into an A5 booklet.   Can you steer me, step-by-step, through the process, please?

Hello BrianJoyce,

What a great question, I would love to help you with printer preferences, and printer properties settings. As for changing the settings in the Publisher program that I am not able to do, as I am not familiar with the program. After some research I was able to find this document which you may find helpful: Create a folded booklet or newsletter

I suggest contacting Microsoft and see what support options they have available to you.  I hope this helps!

Thanks,

I found this information here: Microsoft Support Pages

Thanks for that steer.   I went to it and tried to follow the instructions but am still getting into a bit of a mess with getting the pages in the correct sequence.      I will keep trying, though, until I get it right although it's using ink and paper in the process.   But thanks, whatever!
