6110 cartridge error

My 6110 all in one printer is giving me an error message saying "Error--Right Cartridge Incorrect".  I have taken both cartridges out, unplugged the printer, reinstalled them, and plugged it back in and it still has same error.  Any suggestions??

This error message can occur if the cartridge is not making a good electrical contact with the printer. I recommend that you follow the steps provided in the following link to resolve the issue:


The use of a refilled or remanufactured cartridge can cause unpredictable behaviour. So, if you are using one of these cartridges, replace it with a genuine HP cartridge.
