My printer is no longer printing black.

I've just replaced all the cartriges and re-set factor defaults in addition to running the built in diagnostics.

Black in is flowing from the cartridge with no apparent obstructions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

LJ

Welcome to HP Forums @Scottie535,

Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are unable to print in black after replacing the cartridges.

Not to worry, I will be glad to help.

Are you able to make a copy in black?

Copy function of a printer is independent of the software on the computer.

If you are unable to make a copy, please do hard reset (disconnect the power cable of the printer, wait for a minute and connect the power cord directly to a wall outlet and turn the printer ON.)

If the printer still does not make a copy after a hard reset. Please contact our phone support for the service or upgrade options for the printer.

Please try to clean the printhead as suggested in Step 4 of this article

Examine the print quality on the test page.

If the issue persists, please contact our phone support for the service options available.

Please follow the procedure mentioned below to contact our phone support.
