79 Error Message after Laserjet Pro 400 Color M451dn Firmware Update.

Received email from HP to load latest firmware for my Laserjet Pro 400 Color M451dn printer. Downloaded HP Laserjet Pro 300/400 Color M351/451 Series Software & Drivers (124.1MB). Install first de-installs old version and then installs latest version after reboot. Am now getting 79 Error Message!  Printer worked just fine before you advised firmware update. I now notice my printer is no longer under warranty so how do I fix YOUR problem.

Please advise cost of warranty extension to fix YOUR problem.  Have had a HP-4P Laserjet for 12 or more years including a HP Photosmart C6380 All-in-one and Scanjet 4670, all without firmware update problems. This is a real  disappointment.

I have a Dell XPS 8500 Desktop PC, 12GB RAM, Windows 8.1.

What do I have to do to get this printer working again?

Regards

Peter Frank Lee
