I have a HP deskjet printer HP F2180 all in one series, when I plug the cable to the power point all the lighs on and the catridge can not move and I can not use my printer.

 

What happened to my printer and how to fix it so I can use it again, thank you in advance.

Hi,

When all the lights are blinking it is likely to indicate an hardware failure or the control panel may not fully attached as shown below:

Ensure the printer is directly connected to a power socket, not thorugh any power strips, surce protectors, etc.

As well try plugging it to another power socket with no additional cables to deny any possible cause..

 

Make a power reset as described and ensure that the control panel overlay is installed correctly..

 

If those do not resolve the problem it will require servicing the printer or might be the time for a new one..

Thanks for your replay, all lights are not blinking, it just all on. Could you please help me with this problem?
