Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)
When printing using HP print server plugin from an Android 5.1.1 cell phone the print comes out fine but after it's done the print job keeps showing in the notification bar and it says waiting. The other problem is the notifications will not clear from my phone using any known normal method. I have to resort to rebooting the phone. It's unacceptable. How do I fix this?

Hello, @berndog24 – Greetings!

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!  It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel!

I understand that you are trying to print from your Android to Deskjet and is getting issues with the notification. I'd like help 🙂

Let's try installing the HP All-in-One remote app (HP AiO remote app) to print from your phone. Go to play store and install the HP AiO remote app on your phone.

I found a wonderful document which will give you instructions on how to use this app. Please go through the steps here: http://hp.care/2dlUQ2b

Uninstall the HP print service plugin and then try printing using the HP AiO app. You can also try the HP ePrint app from the play store.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance.

Cheers 🙂
