Black ink not Registered
04-01-2017 02:58 AM - edited 04-01-2017 03:01 AM

Recently purchased my deskjet 3637 two days ago 30/03/2017. Installed it just as instructed and everything works fine as far as i can tell, however, when putting in the ink that came with the printer only the trio colour ink was registered. I tried putting it in and out and following the instruction posted on the hp help service and none of it worked. There really doesnt seem to be anything off with it but i'm starting to think it might be a defect. The ink icon shows that it is empty or not there dont know the difference. I have not been able to print anything.

Hi @Steph_3
As you have mentioned that you already followed all the instruction, then I suspect that the cartridge may be defective.
I recommend you to contact phone support to get the cartridge replaced.
Follow below steps to contact phone support.
Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click on HP contact options - click on Get phone number
Keep me posted.
Good day! Take care 🙂
Cheers!
