Photosmart B110a Wireless
macOS 10.12 Sierra

I've just replaced my black ink cartridge and despite the content levels being high, the printer will not print anything black. I have cleaned the printhead (both simple and the longer automated procedure) and then took the printhead out and cleaned as per HP's instructions, but still no joy.

 

The printer is responding fine to print requests, so I think the drivers are fine, it's simply something to do with the interpretation of the black part of the printing.

 

Any suggestions to resolve gratefully received by one frustrated would-be printer!
