My printer does not print black. I have tried all the steps including replacing cartridges, checking vents, cleaning the print head, running multiple clean cycles and ultimately replacing the printhead. $75+ dollars later and still not black printing. Is it time to buy a new printer...?
I have tried the alignment and still missing the black. I will call HP but as I am our of warranty I hope it doesn't cost to talk to them! And now I have a new printhead I am not able to use. Is there a new, similar model which this will fit in? I have been very happy with this printer from Day one right up until now.
I understand you have followed the steps suggested in the previous post and still having the issue with the printer not printing in black. I would personally suggest this could be a printer hardware. I would recommend you contact our HP phone support for available out of warranty service options or upgrade information. If your product is out of warranty, please choose paid options to get the tech support number.
