I just purchased the CP1025nw. I bought HP laser photo paper, glossy, but the printer will not print a decent photo. It starts out OK and then the colors just smear together. Any setting that should be done that I am not doing? Or a different glossy paper I should be buying?
Thanks....

Hello maxprom!
Check out this article:
http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02508604
Specifically under the sections 'Review examples and cause of print quality issues' -> 'General print quality issues'
This listing has many symptoms and causes of issues related to laserjet printing and it would appear that if there is 'smearing' the paper may be resisting the toner or the cartridge may be damaged. These are just a couple of possibilities but I would recommend reading through the article and solutions regarding this issue. If you are still having issues please post back!
Hope this helps!

HI there
I have jsut purchased this 220 g/m2 paper and got the same results. Very unhappy as it was expensive paper to get the best out of the printer.
I have tried all the recommendations in the abovelink but the probelm persists.
Streeky printing with the ink not fusing to the paper.
Have tried messing with the settings but still no luck.
Any suggestions HP?

Hello johnodelara.
I understand your concerns. Please verify what type of printer you have. Click here to find out: Model Number.
If you have tried the troubleshooting steps from the post by Daniel_L, then did you print a Configuration Report? Did you see any defective colors missing from this page? Also, have you tried cleaning inside the printer, and did this make a difference?
The crucial step you want to make sure is in the printing settings. Please make sure the quality is set to best, not draft.
What size photos are you trying to print?
Please inform me your troubleshooting steps and I will continue to assist you.
