Hi,

I have an HP Deskjet 3050, Not 3050a.  Apple sold it to me.  Why, I'll never understand!  But I have to live with it now.

I want to print wirelessly from my iPad and my Mac Pro.  I was previously able to print wirelessly from my Mac Pro, but it kept dropping out and I just use a cable now because I couldn't restore the wireless feature.

Now I have an iPad 2 also.  Do I need an app, driver or something else to print wirelessly from my Pad?  What would that be?

Please explain in terms a dummy can understand.  I'm not the sharpest tool in the box.  I'm old.

Tnx,

karlRP

Hi,

Well, probably the saleperson did not know your plan at that time. Anyway, please use this for iPad (and iPhone):

I down loaded ePrint Free.  When I touch the icon the window opened and closed immediately before I could do anything.

I think the ios6 update rendered eprint useless. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Hi,

New HP ePrint 5.0.3 (or 5.03) should be ok. Have you tried it ? You can get it from the following link:

Hi KarlRP,

HP has changed the app you use in iOS, it is now called HP Printer Control. Click the link below for details:
