Can a HP Desk jet 1050 be a stand alone copier?

Hi,

Recently bought a Deskjet 1050 and really like it. My daughter needs an occasional copier for her kid's insurance papers, etc but she has no computer. It appears to me that this all-in-one will make copies just by powering it up and using the copy buttons on the unit. I used to load up my 10 year old Lexmark, go to her place and make copies for her. Will this 1050 do that also? If so, I'll get her one for her birthday.

Thanks.

MR

The manual makes it sound like it can.  One thing you could do just to make sure would be to shut down your computer and try making a copy.

Bob,

Thank you for the suggestion. It worked like a dream; still copies.

Have a great week,

Mike
