Operating System: iOS

I have not been able to print from either my iPhone or iPad. When I select an item to print I click on Select Printer and and error message comes up No AirPrint Printers Found?  I can print from my MacBook laptop just fine. Any suggestions?  I have tried everything the support pages suggest and nothing works.
